Position Summary:

Primary Position Duties:
The Senior Architect provides services for Clients and/or projects.  The Senior Architect works hand in hand with assigned Project Managers as senior professional for multiple project teams, providing technical and professional practice expertise and mentoring on multiple projects.  The Senior Architect is responsible for providing a direct communication line with assigned Clients and is responsible for overseeing all project/s associated with the Client and or program.  Duties include but not limited to field investigations and visual surveys, historic status research (when applicable), presentation materials, schematics and programming, design development and project design, construction documents, coordination and review of other disciplines, contract administration, quality assurance inspections, and business development/marketing.  The ability to provide effective mentoring and professional practice tutelage in both the technical and functional aspects of architecture is an essential function of this position.  This is considered a teaching as well as a practice position.
 
Education or Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a 5 year accredited program, plus licensure as an Architect in a NCARB reciprocal jurisdiction.
Proficiency in Revit-BIM 360 required; proficiency in AutoCad and/or rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape,
Rhino is desirable.
Minimum twenty (20) years’ experience in the practice of architecture.
 
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a 5 year accredited program, plus licensure as an Architect in a NCARB reciprocal jurisdiction.
