Job Summary:  The Kid’s Club Day Care Staff is responsible for caring for children while their parents enjoy their workout. This individual must provide a supportive and nurturing environment for children. This person ensures that the Playroom Rules and Regulations are followed without exception. These rules must be reviewed by all parents and signed before they will be allowed to leave their children in our care.
 

Primary Position Duties:

 

• Operational Responsibilities:
•  Ensures that payment for services is collected from every member.  
• Ensures playroom activities stay in alignment with the Playroom Rules and Regulations as approved by Management.
•  Adheres to Playroom Procedures as approved by management.
•  Answers member questions, concerns, and comments, and when necessary, escalates any open questions to the Kids Club Day Care Lead.
• Ensures that the Playroom environment is clean, maintained, and safe for children’s enjoyment
• Watches for broken toys and small pieces that represent a possible choking hazard for children.
• Maintains CPR training and Infant CPR/AED certification.
• Ensures that all supplies are well stocked and purchased as needed.
• Ensures that all parents receive, review and sign-off on Playroom Rules and Regulations.
• Escalates accident incidents to Kids Club Day Care Manager for proper reporting.
• Maintains an open, respectful, and responsive relationship with the Kid’s Club Day Care Lead.
• Stays knowledgeable of all internal promotions, activities, classes, and member programs.
• Possess a good working knowledge of applicable Washington State regulations.
• Be on time for your shift.

 
 

Position Requirements:

Required Certifications: CPR (Adult & Infant)
Preferred Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Physical attributes: Good physical health and reasonably fit
