Position Summary:


The primary function of the Front Desk Staff is to ensure that the Front Desk, which is the first point of contact for all gym customers, is welcoming and supportive at all times. The Front Desk Staff is fully knowledgeable of all programs, membership requirements, daily promotions, and gym facilities and is able to communicate them clearly and effectively to all members and visitors. The staff processes new memberships and billing adjustments easily and accurately.

Primary Position Duties:

 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all customer questions, concerns or comments.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service in accordance with Fitness Evolution standards.
  • Follow Front Desk policies and procedures in accordance with the training provided by the Front Desk Manager.
  • Stay current on all new program offerings and listen for opportunities to effectively upsell them to members and day-pass guests.
  • Keep the Front Desk and Lobby clean, neat and presentable.
  • Ensure that all telephone calls are answered promptly, in a friendly voice, and using the daily slogan.
  • Handle all member and guest procedures accurately and thoroughly.
 
 

Position Requirements:


Provide the highest level of customer service following all Front Desk policies and procedures. Treat every member and coworker with respect at all times. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs perferred.

Education or Skills:

 
  • High School diploma preferred
  • CPR Certifcation and Food Handlers Permit *may be obtained after hire
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, in-person and on the telephone.
  • Cheerful, friendly, even-tempered and professional
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to maintain accurate records
  • Highly motivated.
  • Experienced with Health Club operations
  • Excellent POS and computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Open, collaborative work style
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
