Position Summary

Primary Position Duties
A quality assurance inspector provides inspection services for roofing/waterproofing projects. Perform work utilizing sound safety practices as per OSHA standards and that of the General Contractor if appropriate. Observe work performed by roofing/waterproofing contractor on a daily/periodic basis. Inform contractor’s representative of any items that deviate from the contract documents and/or approved submittals. Review available plans and specifications, roofing system manufacturers’ specifications and drawings, and/or submittals to become familiar with project requirements.  Resolve any unclear issues with the project Engineer/Consultant.  Have all necessary information in hand to perform inspection duties prior to performing field duties. Prepare inspection reports daily and submit reports by email or facsimile to designated personnel, as determined by the Project Engineer/Consultant.

High School or GED Equivalent
 
 
Position Requirements
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Preferred: IIBEC RRO certification but not required
  • Has completed (or is willing to complete) OSHA 10/30.
  • Willing and able to perform field work on-site.
  • Ability to perform work from ladders, boom lifts, scaffolds, roofs, etc
  • Must have reliable transportation to reach office and on job site
  • Able to travel up to 50%
