Position Summary

Primary Position Duties
A Senior BEC (Building Envelope Consultant) provides services to clients and/or projects. This position will involve building envelope related services (Roofs, Walls, Below grade waterproofing).  The Senior BEC is responsible for providing a direct communication line with assigned client or assigned project manager and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all design tasks related to the project.  Duties include but not limited to assigned design tasks, client care tasks or meetings, RFI responses, visual surveys, performance or oversight of testing investigations, coordination and review of other disciplines, project design, drawing/specification development, contract administration, forensic evaluation, structural calculations, and quality assurance inspections.  The Senior BEC is responsible for assisting in marketing tasks assigned by Regional V.P., Director of BE, Executive V.P. and other marketing personnel. 
 
Education or Skills
  • Minimum Four (4) years of bachelor’s degree.
  • Building Envelope experience (10 years minimum)
  • Must have a professional RA/ PE license
  • RRC Registered Roof Consultant preferred.
  • Knowledge of Building codes,
  • Capability of producing Construction Documents in ACAD and/ or Revit
  • Industry knowledge of building envelope systems.
 
Position Requirements
  • Minimum Four (4) years of bachelor’s degree.
  • Building Envelope experience (10 years minimum)
  • Must have a professional RA/ PE license
  • Knowledge of Building codes,
  • Capability of producing Construction Documents in ACAD and/ or Revit
  • Industry knowledge of building envelope systems.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License
