Primary Position Duties
  • Perform Autocad or Revit electrical engineering drafting
  • Perform electrical engineering for Federal, Military and Veterans Administration Projects (buildings or site)
  • Perform electrical engineering for new building designs or site facilities
  • Perform electrical engineering for building renovations based upon site visits performed by others or as-built drawings
  • Lightning Protection Design
  • Edit project specifications in MS Word Format
  • Edit project specifications in Specs-In-Tact Format
  • Interfacing with Senior Electrical Engineers, Engineering Director and Project Managers to complete work in a part time after hours format

Education or Skills (Review Job Type to make sure it matches)
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college
7+ Years Experience in Electrical Engineering for buildings and site facilities

Position Requirements
  • Ability to work independently on design projects after hours with minimal supervision
  • Proficient Understanding & Knowledge of the National Electric Code,
  • Proficient Understanding & Knowledge of the Life Safety Code
  • Understanding & Knowledge of the National Fire Protection Association Fire Prevention Codes
  • Understanding & Knowledge of the ASHRAE 90.1
  • Understanding & Knowledge of the Federal UFC’s related to buildings and electrical engineering of the Whole Building Design Guide
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License
