Primary Position Duties:
Function as Senior Architect managing multiple projects within the Company’s portfolio, including but not limited to Federal DOD, GSA, and VA projects, commercial, industrial, etc. The Senior Architect will work in coordination with assigned team members and administrative project managers providing oversight, professional guidance, mentoring, and senior review; this position will also be responsible for individual project management. The Senior Architect will be required to stamp/seal construction documents. Position is responsible for Client relations, identifying and participating in marketing opportunities, and business development when necessary. This position reports to the Director of Architecture.
Education or Skills:
Minimum education and experience include a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a five year program accredited institution plus fifteen years professional work experience relevant to the Primary Position Duties described above. Professional skills include fluency in Autocad, Revit, Bim360, Bluebeam, Adobe, Word, and Excel. Knowledge/fluency in Microsoft Project, Lumion, Rhinocerous, Sketchup, Enscape, and other relevant software assets is considered a plus. A professional portfolio demonstrating experience as described above in the Primary Position Duties and Professional Skills is required.

Professional Registrations:
At a minimum professional registration as an architect in good standing is required in one of the fifty (50) United States with current certification by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB) permitting reciprocal registration(s) as necessary. Raymond employees are required to maintain professional registrations in good standing.
Additional considerations:
Membership in good standing in the American Institute of Architects is desirable. LEED certification(s) and/or other professional certifications will be considered a plus.
